Landon Donovan has come out of retirement and returned to the LA Galaxy, the club announced Thursday.
The 34-year-old rejoins the Galaxy less than two years after his retirement from Major League Soccer, where he still holds the all-time records for goals (144) and assists (136). The league named its MVP trophy after him last year.
