Pep Guardiola says European absence has helped Chelsea’s title charge

well if you not in any big competitions like champions league, you win the biggest trophy you can which happens to be the PL for chelsea.
however, saying not being in the CL is the only reason chelsea are top is ridiculous. if thats the case, liverpool would've won a PL by now.
the other reason chelsea is winning is because they have a good coach who knows how to handle players and has his tactics in order to play to the players strengths.....something pep isnt doing at city.
