the league is simply a level below other top european leagues at the moment.

but to be fair to him, staying at barca was never a guarantee he would win it either in the next 2-3 years mostly coz the media keeps giving the credit to messi which was evident after the PSG comeback in which neymar was the decider in that match. but after the match, it was all the messi praise that came out it was clear as day that he is barca star not neymar. so its understandable why he wanted to leave.
guess the timing between ronaldinho and messi was better than messi and neymar. barca had to let one great leave so another could rise....however that wasnt the case now.
