Arsene Wenger has confirmed he plans for Jack Wilshere to stay at Arsenal this season and hinted the midfielder could sign a new contract with the club. Wilshere’s future is still uncertain with the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka, Mohamed Elneny and Coquelin all ahead of him in the midfield pecking order with the club fielding a number of inquiries from clubs at home and abroad.
