While the vast majority of the Netherlands squad rested on Friday, head coach Bert van Marwijk instructed those players who have not trained much, such as Champions League finalists Wesley Sneijder, Arjen Robben and Mark van Bommel, to work out.
“We decided at the last moment to make a small meeting with those who have not trained much,” the coach confirmed to the AFP news agency.
