Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Rio Ferdinand will be sidelined until September as he is fighting to recover from a knee ligament injury.
The injury kept the England international from competing in World Cup 2010 this summer and the defender is currently rehabilitating at Carrington.
Rio is one of the main players for United, It means they will have a dificult start in the PL this year. United has good players in the midfield and attack, but are one of the weakest when Rio and Vidic is out. I think this fact can cost them the title.
