A howler from Houston goalkeeper Tally Hall, a volley from Andy Iro and a debut goal for Leandre Griffit paved the way for the Columbus Crew to record a second straight win at Crew Stadium. Emilio Renteria opened the scoring in the first half and the Crew never looked back, while Bobby Boswell was sent off in the second half for the Dynamo.
