Independiente striker Leonel Nunez is now officially a Bursaspor player, after completing a medical and signing for the club yesterday on arriving in Turkey.
Ole reports that the transfer did not pass without confusion. When Nunez got on the plane Independiente were under the impression that the forward was moving on a year's loan agreement, with the option to buy after the year was completed. The Turkish side, on the other hand, believed that they were signing 'El Gordo' on a three-year permanent deal.
