Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien is pleased to be back playing again after being out of action for seven months through injury.
The Ghanaian has played more minutes for the club in pre-season than any other player and is looking forward to a successful season ahead.
"It feels so good to be back, it has been a long way back but everything is behind me now and I'm enjoying playing football again," he told his club's official website.
