Sheffield United have confirmed that manager Kevin Blackwell has left the club by mutual consent after the Blades crashed to a 3-0 defeat at home to Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
Blackwell, who has also managed Leeds United and Luton Town, watched on as his side were three goals down inside 23 minutes, which led to a barrage of abuse from the home supporters.
