Ibrahimovic scores twice as Sweden crush San Marino

Sweden captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored twice to lead his team to a 6-0 win over San Marino in their Euro 2012 Group E qualifier before a partisan crowd in his home town of Malmo on Tuesday.
The local hero took only seven minutes to break the deadlock when the Milan striker held off a challenge and controlled a Kim Kallstrom cross from deep on the left before calmly firing home past Aldo Simoncini.
Five minutes later the game was effectively over as a contest as another Simoncini, defender Davide, turned Sebastian Larsson's low cross into his own net with Ibrahimovic lurking behind him.

Congratulations Sweden! You managed to beat the team that is officially last on the Fifa ranking. Sharing a 202nd place with the other teams that has 0 points.
No, but seriously. It was a good match.

Holland only manage to beat them with 5-0 and Sweden 6-0 with 10 man its a very good score.

To be completely honest with you. The difference between 6-0 and 5-0 doesn't really express any difference in superiority. If Holland had been pushing on a full offense I'm sure they could make 10-0, and so goes for Sweden. Having an extra goal or two in goal difference is of course nice, but most teams would look at a game against San Marino as a chance to test out techniques and play creatively. Which both Sweden and Holland did.

I don't think you can measure a team's worth based on number of goals against San Marino ;)
