Manchester United have confirmed under fire star Wayne Rooney has been left out of the Champions League squad to face Valencia due to an ankle injury.
Rooney, 24, has endured a miserable start to the season after accusations about his private life seemed to effect his form on the pitch. This was evident in Sunday's 2-2 draw with Bolton Wanderers after he was withdrawn with an ankle knock after an ineffective 60 minute performance.
Valenica has been absolut fabelous this season. United has a really hard match- and they need their best squad to have chances of 3 points. Neither Rooney or Berbatov played well against Bolton, so I am not so optimist on this match.
