3. New York – Losing Bouna Coundoul and Dane Richards to international duty will hurt the Red Bulls as they seek to consolidate their perch atop the Eastern Conference, but retaining Rafael Marquez could prove more crucial to their chances as they try to cope with RSL in midfield. (3)
4. Los Angeles – The Galaxy will need more of the effort and the quality it showed against Chivas USA on Sunday night in order to emerge from Philadelphia with more than a point on Thursday night. (4)
