1. FC Dallas – A result against Colorado on Saturday will see FCD stand alone in the MLS record books with a 19-match unbeaten run. (1)
2. Real Salt Lake – It will be interesting to see how the Claret-and-Cobalt reacts to a normal week of rest and training ahead of Saturday's critical visit to New York. (2)
3. New York – Losing Bouna Coundoul and Dane Richards to international duty will hurt the Red Bulls as they seek to consolidate their perch atop the Eastern Conference, but retaining Rafael Marquez could prove more crucial to their chances as they try to cope with RSL in midfield. (3)
4. Los Angeles – The Galaxy will need more of the effort and the quality it showed against Chivas USA on Sunday night in order to emerge from Philadelphia with more than a point on Thursday night. (4)
