Leeds United chairman Ken Bates is optimistic his club will still be in contention for a return to the Premier League at the end of this season despite a slump in fortunes.
The Elland Road have only won one of their last five games and have suffered heavy defeats at the hands of Barnsley and Preston North End but Bates remains bullish about Leeds’ Championship promotion prospects.
I don`t think they will make it already this year, but in 2-3 years they are back, and I welcome them back.
Maybe Liverpool experience the same fate as Leeds? Hopefully not! But I don`t like what I have seen so far this season. And still new owners are not there....
