Valencia winger Juan Mata has told Super Deporte that he is hopeful of putting pen to paper on a new contract at the Mestalla in the coming days.
The club are expected to finalise a long-term deal for the 22-year-old in the coming days and Mata says he is delighted with the trust the club have shown in him, and he anticipates a bright future with the current league leaders.
