Ajax are braced for a January bidding war between Manchester United and Arsenal for goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.
The Premier League giants have both been scouting the 6'6" shot-stopper in recent weeks and are set to do battle for the Netherlands international when the transfer window opens.

If his price goes over 15million then Arsenal(Wenger) will probably pull out even if they have more than enough money. Another thing is that He's already cup tied in the Champions league with Ajax so I doubt Arsenal will go with that in January at least. I'm also not really sure if Manchester United has the funds for more than 15mill for one player either..............chances are Manchester City (to replace Given, since he's begging to leave) or Chelsea will beat them to the punch (just to mess with their party).
