Portugal started their Euro 2012 qualifying campaign with a disappointing draw against Cyprus before being beaten by Norway. However, they bounced back with a win against Denmark on Friday and defender Pepe is determined to pick up the full three points against Iceland on Tuesday.
"We want to make the Portuguese people believe in us again," Pepe was quoted as saying on the official website of the Portuguese Football Federation.
"We did not create the image we wanted in the games against Cyprus and Norway, unlike the last contest against Denmark. We now have to carry that spirit and hope into our coming matches.
