Bundesliga Giants Chasing 17-Year Old German Wunderkind Moritz Leitner

Bayern, Dortmund and Leverkusen are all in the race for the precociously talented 17-year-old 1860 Munich attacker Moritz Leitner.

Bundesliga powerhouses Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen are all in the hunt for yet another precocious youngster in the shape of 1860 Munich's attacking midfielder Moritz Leitner, according to Kicker.

The 17-year-old is the latest top talent from 1860 Munich's youth set-up and has a contract until the middle of 2012. He made his debut for the 2.Bundesliga side this season and has played in each of die Loewen's eight games but is yet to find the back of the net. He does however, have one assist to his name.

Leitner is reported to favour a move to either Dortmund or Leverkusen, given the recent record of those outfits in bringing young talent through. He fears having his progress stunted at Bayern, as happened to Toni Kroos, who was forced to move to Leverkusen for an extended loan spell.
