Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes Liverpool are still in contention for the Premier League title despite currently residing in the relegation zone of the table.
The Reds have had their worst start to a season in 57 years and are currently facing speculation that they may lose Spaniards Fernando Torres and Pepe Reina in the January transfer window.
I have to disagree with him on this one. Aston Villa are far from their best so I doubt they could challenge this year. Liverpool are also far from their best and maybe until the January transfers come in, they may stay like that, but we know why. Liverpool however may end up playing a very important role to crown a champion. If there's a team other than the top 4 that can beat them (top 4 teams) is Liverpool so whoever can get points specially at Anfield will be up there and if they can't, well, they'll fall from the race.
