Manchester City's England internationals Gareth Barry, Joe Hart and Adam Johnson were pictured on an alcohol-fuelled night out in Scotland earlier this week. The video footage of Barry, Hart and Johnson, plus Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Shay Given, at a student party in St Andrews emerged in a tabloid newspaper on Wednesday, with midfielder Barry pictured appearing to drink from a bottle of spirits.
While conceding that the players were within their rights to spend their day off playing golf at St Andrews, Mancini admitted he was “unhappy” with their choice of relaxation.
