Two second half goals from Nicolas Burdisso and Mirko Vucinic gave Roma victory but they had captain Francesco Totti sent off, while Lecce also had Ruben Olivera dismissed for an incident in the build up to the second goal.
Lecce started the brighter of both sides and dictated the opening of the game, even striking the crossbar through Daniele Corvia. This though brought the home side to life and they upped their game as Mirko Vucinic and Francesco Totti started to pull the strings for Roma.
