Sporting Lisbon boss Paulo Sergio admits the red card shown to midfielder Maniche cost his side victory against Vitoria Guimaraes.
Maniche was given his marching orders in the 70th minute, and the away side staged a comeback, scoring three times to walk away with maximum points.
"The expulsion was decisive, but also not capitalising on the opportunities to score in the first-half," Sergio told Record post-match. "Even with 10 players, we should have controlled the match. It was unacceptable.
