Manchester City 0-0 Manchester United: Mancini Settles For Point Against Frustrated Visitors

Manchester City and Manchester United played out an eventless 0-0 draw at Eastlands on Wednesday night.

In a game that was stunted by City's negative approach, both sides struggled to make an impact on the game with a Carlos Tevez free kick and Dimitar Berbatov volley being the only two instances of note.

The home started the most assured with every player getting a touch inside the first couple of minutes and working the ball slowly up field until Carlos Tevez, back after a brief return to Argentina picked up the ball just outside the area and with his first touch took himself away from Nemanja Vidic as the United defence opened up for him but the striker hesitated when pulling the trigger and the chance quickly went.

The story is too old to be commented.

Very defensive by city. Dissapointing for both sets of fans really
