Stoke City winger Jermaine Pennant would like to remain at the Britannia Stadium on a permanent basis when his loan deal with the club runs out in January.
Pennant joined Stoke from Spanish side Real Zaragoza in August and has rediscovered some of the form that earned him a move to Liverpool in 2006.
The 27-year-old, who helped Stoke beat his former employers 2-0 on Saturday, has settled down at the Potters after a nomadic career that has taken him to nine different clubs.
He has been in pretty good form recently. Good move by Stoke
