City focus on financial fair play rules as fringe players head for exit
Manchester City have prepared a package worth £6 million-a-year for Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko, Goal.com UK can reveal.
City manager Roberto Mancini has an astonishing £100m to spend when the transfer window opens in January and has made the Bosnian star his prime target.
Dzeko's representatives have been made aware that he will be offered a contract at Eastlands worth a whopping £120,000-a-week plus added goal bonuses.
It dwarfs the £90,000-a-week he currently earns at Wolfsburg, who value their prize asset at £50m and have also received interest from Italian giants Juventus. It is understood City are willing to offer up to £35m to land their man, with Roque Santa Cruz in part-exchange to smooth through the deal
Juventus already signed him
