The Colorado Rapids won their first ever MLS Cup on Sunday evening as they defeated FC Dallas 2-1 thanks to an extra-time own goal.
Taking an unfortunate deflection off George John, Mac Kandji’s toe-poke bounced over the goal-line to give his team the winner in the 107th minute.
A slow game for most of regular time, Colorado did well to quell the ever-dangerous Dallas attack.
