Everton boss David Moyes is hoping a win at Sunderland on Monday will help reignite the Toffees' season after seeing his side slip to 16th in the league having failed to win their past three games.
The Toffees endured an appalling start to the season and were bottom of the Premier League table on September 28, but a victory over Liverpool in the Merseyside derby helped inspire a mini-revival that also included a draw at Spurs and win at home to Stoke.
Moyes' side climbed to eighth after beating the Potters but draws against Blackpool and Bolton and a home reverse against Arsenal have seen them fall back down the standings.
