Ahead of Monday night's Premier League tie between Sunderland and Everton, Steve Bruce has revealed that he is dreaming of a place in Europe this season.
Sunderland currently sit seventh in the table and a victory over Everton will see them draw level with Bolton and Tottenham on 22 points.
A 3-0 win at Chelsea attracted plaudits and having beaten Manchester City this season - and drawn with Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham - Sunderland have demonstrated they are capable of competing with bigger clubs on a regular basis.
Though Bruce is reluctant to allow expectation to heighten, he does say his own objectives have changed since arriving at the club.
