Ferguson says Manchester United will not be selling mis-firing striker Dimitar Berbatov to Juventus

Berbatov, United’s £30.75 million record signing, was omitted from the squad for the 2-0 victory against Wigan on Saturday. Ferguson, who named the inexperienced Federico Macheda and Gabriel Obertan in his forward line instead, admitted that his decision was not based on injury or a desire to rest the 29 year-old.

Ferguson is expected to restore Berbatov to his squad for Wednesday's Champions League group game at Rangers. But the former Tottenham striker is likely to start on the bench against the Scottish champions, with Ferguson confirming that Wayne Rooney will make his first United start since Sept 26.

Of course not! Berba had a hard start in United, but he has prooved that he defends a place in Uniteds squad. Its tough beeing a striker in United, but the club need them all to go all the way in two tough competitions: PL and CL. I guess they win both this season!!!
