Inter striker Samuel Eto'o's Zinedine Zidane style headbutt on Chievo's Bostjan Cesar has cost him a three-match ban and €30,000 fine, the Lega Serie A said in a statement on Tuesday.
An extract from the official note reads:
"The television images show that under the circumstances, the Chievo player Cesar was reached by the Inter striker who hit him with his head on the chest, making him fall to the ground in pain. The referee did not, at the time of the incident, take action as his attention was to control the other area of the field with his assistants.
Thats it? Only 3 matches and a tiny fine. Should have been 3 months out, and more than a two day salary...
Deserved ban even though 30000 is nothing for him
