Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri is a boss pleased with a job well done at Auxerre as they secured their place in the last sixteen of the Champions League.
Goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ronaldinho ensured Milan reared triumphantly over a fallen Auxerre side.
"The team did well, we conceded little and created some good chances. We deserved to win and I am happy that we qualified for the next round," Allegri told Sky Sport Italia.
"The team was balanced tonight with [Gennaro] Gattuso and [Clarence] Seedorf, we had some good chances, but in the end what was important was to win and hope Madrid won which they did."
