Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has had his say in the debate surrounding Scottish referees, claiming he is surprised the officials have decided to go on strike.
The Scottish FA announced that all Clydesdale Bank Premier League matches will go ahead this weekend, despite Scotland’s grade one referees undertaking strike action after they reached an agreement with other European national associations which will see their referees in charge of the matches.
Scotland's grade one referees had earlier confirmed that they would be upholding their decision to strike and this put all fixtures in Scotland in serious doubt.
