Everton 1-4 West Brom: Mikel Arteta sees red as Baggies secure sensational win at Goodison Park

Roberto Di Matteo's West Bromwich Albion side secured their first win at Everton in 31 years, as they hammered Everton 4-1 at Goodison Park.

Paul Scharner and Chris Brunt gave West Brom a two goal lead before Tim Cahill headed home before half-time to give Everton hope.

Mikel Arteta was then sent off for appearing to stamp on Gonzalo Jara, before two late goals from Somen Tchoyi and Youssuf Mulumbu ensured the Baggies would bounce back to the Midlands with a huge three points.

The story is too old to be commented.
