Selling Ricardo Carvalho wasn't a mistake, says boss
Carlo Ancelotti insists that he doesn't need to go shopping to strengthen the Chelsea squad in January.
Despite injuries to Alex, John Terry and Frank Lampard, coupled with the summer departure of Ricardo Carvalho, the Italian believes that a splurge in the transfer market is not necessary.
"We don’t have long-term injuries, so we don’t need to have other players in January," Ancelotti said, according to The Mirror.
"Obviously we have to look at the situation of Alex and Terry and Lampard. But if all those players don’t show problems we don’t need other players in January."
He will not say this after todays match against Newcastle....
