Roma striker Mirko Vucinic has been linked with a £21 million switch to Liverpool.
Itasportpress.it claims Roy Hodgson is a keen admirer of the 27-year-old and sees the Montenegro international as an ideal partner for Fernando Torres.
It is believed a large bid could could tempt Roma, who are strapped for cash and awaiting a change of ownership.
