Aston Villa striker Emile Heskey is poised to return for Saturday's home Premier League derby clash with West Brom.
Heskey has been sidelined for more than a month after undergoing surgery.
But Villa boss Gerard Houllier confirmed the former England player will play some part against the Baggies.
Heskey had been revitalised under Houllier and scored three goals in six games.
