Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson is confident Steven Gerrard will be fit to face Fulham on Saturday, while Daniel Agger could return this month.
Gerrard has not played since straining his hamstring while on international duty in November, but is primed to resume full training this week.
The return of their talismanic skipper could not come soon enough for Liverpool, who are still struggling to string together wins in English Premier League.
Barring any lingering soreness in his hamstring, Hodgson said Gerrard should be able play some part in Saturday's clash at Anfield.
"Steven's on track for the weekend," Hodgson told Liverpoolfc.tv.
