Gay rights campaigners have reacted with shock and disappointment to Sepp Blatter's announcement regarding the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Homosexuality is illegal in the Arab country, and while Blatter spoke this morning of his desire for football to be open to everyone, he also drew the ire of protesters with statements that seemed to defend a lack of sexual equality under the law.
Does that mean that 2/3rds of the French team won't be allowed into the country?
