Former Chelsea assistant manager Ray Wilkins insists he is still saddened after leaving the club but is relishing a return to football.
The 54-year-old was unceremoniously cut from the Premier League champions’ staff list in November and reasons for his dismissal have still yet to be confirmed.
But reflecting on his time at Chelsea, Wilkins believes that although he is still hurting from the decision, he would like a return to the game.
