Barcelona captain Carles Puyol has stated his belief that coach Pep Guardiola will sign a contract extension in the near future to remain at the club long-term.
The club's former midfielder has been a revelation since taking the managerial helm in 2008, guiding the team to back-to-back league titles, as well as the 2009 Champions League and Copa del Rey.
He'll sign for the sake of Barca. Without him, we are nothing. Pep is as important to Barca as Messi.
