Alexi Lalas unhappy to hear of David Beckham's potential loan move away from LA Galaxy

Former LA Galaxy defender Alexi Lalas does not see the necessity for David Beckham to make a loan move to a European club.

The ageing midfielder has done so twice before, when he wanted to remain in contention to be picked for the World Cup - though an injury at AC Milan ruled him out of the tournament.
