Seamus Coleman’s goal was the difference between the sides at Goodison Park as Everton produced a sublime performance to beat Tottenham 2-1 to kick-start their push up the Premier League table.
The home-side were ahead after three minutes when Louis Saha fired in a superb strike from long range to send Goodison into raptures.
However this joy was short lived as Rafael Van der Vaart equalized minutes later after heading in from close range after reacting to Peter Crouch’s flick on.
