Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is set to rest many of his first choice 11 for the FA Cup third round tie with Leeds on Saturday.
The Frenchman has a habit of putting in his second string players in the domestic cup competitions, and having just completed a run of four Premier League games in ten days over the festive period – and with a two-legged League Cup semi-final against Ipswich next week – the decision comes as no surprise.
Speaking to the club's official website, Wenger confirmed that Kieran Gibbs will be back in the squad for the first time since December 8, while Emmanuel Eboue will come in for the suspended Bacary Sagna after the fullbacks red card against Manchester City last night.
Looks like he wants to end up trophiless again.
Should be able to take care of Leeds with the second string line-up.
