A dramatic injury-time equaliser from Maya Yoshida rescued a point for Japan in their opening game of the Asian Cup against Jordan in a 1-1 draw. The west Asian side battled bravely throughout and were on the brink of recording a famous win courtesy of Hasan Abdel Fattah's first-half goal.
