Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso is delighted with their 3-1 win over Atletico Madrid in the first-leg of their quarter-final tie in the Copa del Rey on Thursday evening.
The first-leg victory puts the Blancos firmly in the driving seat to reach the semi-finals. Speaking after the match Alonso was pleased with the victory but felt the Merengues could have scored another goal or two.
