Werder Bremen have not been able to agree a deal to bring in Niko Kranjcar from Tottenham, their general manager Klaus Allofs has revealed.
Allofs has confirmed that Bremen were keen to land Kranjcar, but their pursuit was unsuccessful.
Kranjcar has had limited opportunities to impress at White Hart Lane this season but Allofs has suggested that Spurs are eager to keep him as they plan ahead for a busy schedule.
"We have been looking at the chance to bring in this player," Allofs told Deutsche Presseagentur with regard to Kranjcar.
