Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made a £26 million bid to acquire the services of Athletic Bilbao forward Fernando Llorente.
According to The Daily Mail, Spurs manager Harry Redknapp has made the Spaniard his top transfer target.
But it is thought that Chelsea could join the chase if they are unable to strike a deal with Liverpool for the sale of Fernando Torres, with Goal.com UK having exclusively revealed that the Reds have asked for Nicolas Anelka to be included instead of Daniel Sturridge for the sale of their star striker.
Good try Redknapp, but he will not leave Bilbao!
Great buy for Tottenham, if it happens.
