Fergie eyeing Roma star as Scholes replacement

Sir Alex Ferguson is eyeing up Italy midfielder Danielle de Rossi to succeed Paul Scholes at Manchester United.

Scholes has yet to accept Fergie's offer of a new one-year deal to carry on at Old Trafford and may quit this summer when his current contract ends.

He is a good player but is he good enough to replace Scholes ?

I know I'm in dreamland but I would love to use some of that Ronaldo money on Jack Wilshire. At the moment I don't know anyone with more potential in the middle of the park. Him and Rooney played really well together for England against Denmark.
