Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney will face Chelsea tomorrow night after the Football Association confirmed no action will be taken against him following his elbow on Wigan Athletic’s James McCarthy. The England international was caught by cameras striking the Wigan midfielder’s head with the elbow in United’s 4-0 win. Wigan manager Roberto Martinez insisted Rooney should have been sent off by referee Mark Clattenburg.
